It was some 6000 yrs back human started to cultivate fruits, grains, vegetables. Till that time there is no community.When can he be able to cultivate? It is possible only if he finds some plain region.Humans cannot learn to cultivate if they were in forest. Only after he started cultivation, there is a possibility of forming community. What is the reason for behind this. As i already mentioned in older post humans are the most vulnerable creatures.He is not fit enough to survive in thick forest. Because of this reason he started to wander in groups, only for the whole reason of survival. So in this period there is no way he could have formed a community. Huge mass of people started to gather only after they came to plains where they can do vegetation. They got food, Shelter, no fear of wild animals. So this led them to form a commune and lead a peaceful life.Culture started to grow very slowly but gradually till some 100 years back. If you noticed Egyptians don’t have advanced technologies, but they succeeded in constructing mighty pyramid. That was an outstanding leap. From that time there was a big lag.
Why there was a historic lag?
So there should definately be an incident which caused this heavy lag. The crusade wars was the amin reason which lead to this historic war. Everyone must be knowing about the Crusade wars It happened in 1095-1291.The Crusades originally had the goal of recapturing Jerusalem and the sacred “Holy Land” from Muslim rule and were originally launched in response to a call from the Eastern Orthodox Byzantine Empire for help against the expansion of the Muslim Seljuq dynasty into Anatolia.
They believed that every person who shall die in those historic war will directly go to heaven. Many of them died. They continued war for a very long period of time. By the end of the 12th Crusade wars all europeon countries were tired. They don’ have resources. They had already lost lots of their human resource….Financial position of Eastern Counties.In the mean while, the eastern countries like China, India were financially good. At that period neither China nor India faced a terrible war. As a result of this they were leading a peaceful life. All their needs are met. They are already having what they want in excess. So they didn’t think about finding some thing new.
The case of European Countries:Where as the whole europe was in despair. It was a financial as well as political crisis. They need to fight back. They got necessity, they were desperately need something that will make their life better.They want to bounce back to greater heights with greater effort.Their population was less,since they lost most of their manpower in wars. They gave people what they want. They provided lots of facility.
You know it was the period which gave birth to the world most famous inventors. All top most scientists were born successively. Copernicus, Da Vinci, Newton, Einstein…. If you think a bit you will understand the reason. It was thier Necessity, Which made them to invent. So simple like that! With the Help of these Inventors, European Countries gained control.
Why couldn’t China or India Develop?
It was because all their need are fulfilled. There must be a pressure or there is no need for humans to think. We won’t give our brain some work if there is no necessity. If all your need are satisfied, all you will do is try to enjoy those pleasure. Your mind will not think beyond what is happening. Your mind will never dream about new things. YOU WILL START TO BELIEVE WHAT YOU SEE. YOU WILL NOT QUESTION. If you don’t ask question everything ends there.
So after finding European development China and other eastern countries started to wonder about their rapid development. They started to follow. This is a real lag in History. But definitely it turned out to be a boon.
