The Knight is one of the superior characters in Ragnarok.I love playing Kinghts.But most of them doesn’t know how to play a real game in Ragnarok.They will have all items that makes them stupendous, but still will die in PVP or WOE mercilessly.In this post i would like to talk about playing a real nasty game with knights.
Once you enter the world of ragnarok you will be given a novice character.A knife and some novice clothes to assist you in leveling till level 10.Once you reach level 10 you can upgrade your character as a swordy.Then as a Knight.Playing Knight is not so tough as other characters where you have to use lots of skills. Knight is strength based, so no need to use many skills to kill other characters.There are few skills you will have to concentrate on.They are pirece,provoke,spear boomerang if you are vit built.Two hand quicken,blowing bash, bash, provoke if you are a agi build.
Knight Vs Wizzard:
Wizzards are easiest to kill if they are alone. But wizzard with priest… hmm.. its tough though. But don’t worry i have solutions.All you should have is some prerequisite items.You should know how to play in battlemode.Only then it will be useful for you to switch gears.If doesn’t know how to play in battlemode then, there is no solution.
Switch to gears that gives you lots of MDEF.If you press ALT + A you will get a pop up window showing your stats.On right side you will see MDEF label. Your MDEF should be atleast 20-30.For a vit knight 20 MDEF is really good, as he got more HP.Collect items that gives MDEF.
Always wear a poo poo Hat as it reduces 10% damage from demi-Hunan monsters.All players are Human.So even the magical damage will be reduced.Then carry a cranial Shield. Thara frog in a shield.It reduces 30% of damage from demi humans.Don’t wear Immune Muffler against wizzards, as it is of no use.Because it will damage you more against Soul strike.So against wizzards DEF doesn’t matter.All that matters is MDEF.Get atleast 20 MDEF.So it is 20% damage reduction.
Poo poo + Cranial + Mdef(20) = 60% damage reduced from wizzards, that means, If a wizzard does some 2000 damage in fire bolt, now she will do just 800 damage. As a vit Knight you will survive this. Because your HP will be around 21,000.She will have to try a lot to kill you.You got Jakk card that protects you from fire.. get some elemental cards and insert it in a muffler.
Generrally there are 2 types of wizzards. One with high dex moderate int,other, moderate dex, high int. If you encounter a wizz with High dex moderate int then you have to fully rely on MDEF.Because wizz casting delay will be reduced.She will spam bolts, which is dangerous.If you encounter a wizz with moderate dex and high int, You can change your elemental mufflers.As her casting delay will give you enough time to change gears.
Before going to pvp or challenging a wizzard its a must to have Unfrozen armour(Marc card).If you miss to take an unfrozen armour then wizz can kill you easily.
So how to kill a wizz. If you keep in mind all i said earlier then it would be easier to kill any wizz.Spear boomerang from a distance. You must have a status wepon. Like Double silence double stun pike, or some other combination. But against wizz use stun status wepon.May be triple stun silence pike.Because only if you go near wizz you can kill easily. So to do that use this status pike to spam spear bomerang as fast as you can. Once she is stunned go near wizz and spam pierce.Do level 1 provoke if she is casting a spell. Do not waste time by trying against a High dex wizzard.Its waste.First try once,if the spell is cancelled, use it to your advantage.If not she is wearing a phen card. Don’t keep on trying to cancel a spell, if its not working.
So simple to kill a wizz right. Yah but the worst part is they don’t come alone.Usually a priest will be in party.Whoever it may be we will pawn everyone.Knights are there only to rock.
